How the idea generator works

  1. 1

    Tell us about your song

Say what it's about and how it feels. Add the genre, a visual style or the lyrics if you like.

  2. 2

    Claude writes three ideas

A music video director's brief for each: the story or concept, the look and colours, the camera and edit, and what happens in each part of the song.

  3. 3

    Pick one and make it

Copy the idea for your own shoot, or upload your song to Audove and turn the idea into a finished AI music video.

What makes a good music video idea

Pick one kind of video
A story (characters live through something), a performance (someone sings to the camera) or a concept (one strong visual idea). Mixing a story with a performance works for most songs.
Follow the song's shape
Keep the verses calmer, with slower camera moves and longer shots. Save the biggest moment for the last chorus, where the song peaks.
Choose a look and stick to it
Two to four main colours and one kind of light make a video feel planned. A rainy neon city or a sunlit field says more than ten different places.
Use one image that returns
A red umbrella, a car, a pair of headphones. Something that comes back in every part ties the video together and gives people something to remember.

To cut on the beat, check your song's tempo with the free BPM and key finder. It shows your song's tempo, key, beats and bars. For lyric scenes, get the words with their times from the LRC generator. Music video idea questions

What is a music video idea generator?
It's a tool that suggests concepts for a song's music video. You describe the song, and it gives you ideas you can shoot yourself or make with AI. This one gives each idea a look, a mood, a camera style and key moments for each part of the song.
How do I come up with a music video idea?
Start with what the song is about and how it feels, then pick a kind of video: a story, a performance or a single visual concept. Choose a place, a few colours and one image that keeps coming back, and plan the biggest moment for the last chorus. The generator above does this for you as a starting point.
Do I need the lyrics?
No. A sentence about the song is enough. Adding the lyrics, or just the chorus, helps the ideas follow the words more closely.
Can I use these ideas for my own video?
Yes. The ideas are yours to use however you like, whether you film the video yourself, give it to a director or make it with AI.
Can Audove make the video from the idea?
Yes. Sign up, upload your song, paste the idea and pick a style. Audove plans the scenes on your song's beats and parts, draws a storyboard, then turns it into a music video.
Do you keep what I type?
Only for as long as it takes to write the ideas, then it's deleted. For 30 days we keep a short note of each request (the ideas and how long they took) to keep the tool running well.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can ask for ideas up to 5 times a day without an account. When many people use it at once, you may need to wait a few minutes.
