LRC generator: get the timed lyrics of any song
Upload a song and AI writes down its lyrics, with the time every line is sung. Download them as an LRC file for music players, SRT subtitles for videos, or plain text. It takes about a minute, with no sign-up.
How the LRC generator works
- 1
Upload your song
Choose an MP3 or WAV up to 10 minutes long. It goes straight to private storage, and nobody else can open it.
- 2
AI listens for the words
MAI-Transcribe-2, Microsoft's speech model, hears the lyrics and the time of every word. We split them into lines where the singer pauses.
- 3
Download your lyrics
See every line with its time, then download an LRC file, SRT subtitles or plain text, or copy the lyrics. Then your song is deleted.
What to do with timed lyrics
- Music players
- Add an LRC file next to your song so players like foobar2000, MusicBee or Poweramp scroll the words as it plays.
- Karaoke
- Get timed lines for a karaoke track or a sing-along, without typing and timing every line by hand.
- Lyric videos
- Load the SRT file into CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or YouTube to get lyric subtitles that are already timed.
- Songwriters
- Write down the words of a demo or an AI song you made, then fix a line or two instead of starting from nothing.

LRC generator questions
- What is an LRC file?
- An LRC file is a small text file with a song's lyrics and the time each line starts, like [00:13.48]Morning light on the kitchen floor. Music players and karaoke apps read it to show the words in time with the music. Give it the same name as the song file so players find it.
- What is the difference between LRC and SRT?
- Both are timed text. LRC is made for music players and shows when each line starts. SRT is the subtitle format for video editors and YouTube, and shows when each line starts and ends. Use LRC for listening and SRT for videos.
- How accurate are the lyrics?
- On songs with a clear voice, most words come out right. Heavy effects, loud instruments, fast rap or several voices at once can make the AI mishear some words, so read the lyrics through before you share them. A song with no singing gets no lyrics.
- Which languages does it work with?
- It hears many languages and finds the song's language by itself, so you don't need to choose one. It works best when one language is sung clearly over the music.
- Can I use it for any song?
- Use it for songs you made or have the rights to use. The lyrics of most released songs belong to their writers, so ask before you publish them.
- Do you keep my song or lyrics?
- No. Your song is deleted as soon as its lyrics are written, and the lyrics are deleted an hour later, so download them before you go. For 30 days we keep a short note of each request (the file size, the song's length and what it cost), never the song, its name or the words.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. You can get lyrics for up to 5 songs a day without an account. When many people use it at once, you may need to wait a few minutes.
